So, I have two gimmicks in my head now for when I finally debut. Both are heel gimmicks, one being UBER heel and one being able to swap back and forth IF needed.

Gimmick one:

It's an old style, 1920's mafia gimmick. Basically going around and doing jobs for money, taking people out, hiring people, inviting people into "the family". Old style mafia stuff.

Gimmick two: Now, this one I'm definitely pulling towards, simply because it's just plain awesome! It's a play off of Punk's straight edge gimmick (I don't want to offend anyone with what I am about to say, but, I'm going to say it anyways. Send the hate mail if you need to, I'm just not going to respond.), except changing straight edge to a religion (I won't specify which one, but, it will be easy to figure out.). The character acts as if he's some sort of huge savior, even beating up the opponent to a bloody pulp and "baptizing" himself in his opponents blood (gonna use fake blood most of the time; looking online for recipes that are realistic looking.).

I can't choose. x-x

I kinda like gimmick two except for the "baptizing yourself in your opponent's blood". Many promoters would see that as extremely satanic and have the gimmick terminated and you may get yourself released in the process. Even if you do use fake blood, fans won't know the difference and some may complain to the promoter. I would personally go with the gangster gimmick.

The Gangster gimmick would be sorta like a bounty hunter. One tip I have for that gimmick is to keep the attitude as independent as possible and don't consider those you are told to take out as being ordered to take them out. Make that person pay good money for the hit and give them a certain amount of time to pay it in. Let's say... 30 days? If they can't pay in time, take them out. Also the mafia gimmick must involve a code of honor among "the family". If anyone within "your family" disrespects you, take them out. My suggestion for a signature weapon with this gimmick would be a kendo stick, baseball bat (I've heard stories of where Al Capone would take his victims into a dimly lit room under the pretense of "discussing business" and smash them over the head with a baseball bat killing them) or an ornamental cane (swing the larger end of the cane at your opponent like a hammer). You know a tommy gun would probably be banned right? lol

Gimmick two suits you better. That would be an awesome one! But, with what Joker has said, I'd be careful about it if you choose it.

I'd go for option one so as not to have people running scared when they see you out in public because The blood baptism idea would end up making people think you actually live that type of lifestyle. On the other hand, if you do use it, you could wear a mask to keep people from recognizing you in public. However, there might be small children watching the shows you perform in so I can definitely see a major problem with option two. You know how impressionable children can be.

That's why I'm going to talk to the promoter about it and see if it'd be okay. I'm worried about the kids with that gimmick as well and that's something I'm trying to be careful of. Now, if I was in something like Ring of Honor, they'd probably LET me use it without question just to see how I'd run with it.

I like the mafia gimmick myself. It does really make me think of you seeing as how if any one screwed with a site your apart of you would put a hit out on the there pc.

I like both, but with Punk getting a huge push right now, perhaps it would be good to wait to debut the straight edge gimmick? The mafia gimmick would fit in better with MWO too right now? But then I don't know, with renting the arena, adding more shows, etc maybe the fed is expanding? The more hardcore gimmick might help bring in new fans...

Well, it's not a straight edge gimmick at all. It's a play off of it; the straight edge gimmick from Punk is how I got the idea for the whole "sinning savior" in the first place. It's a contradiction in itself and if I can play it off good, it'll work! Cheap heat, but, it'll work.

And they aren't using the huge arena for Wrestlerama anymore. It's in Burton High School's gym. =( I was looking forward to the huge arena.

What happened, I thought it was already reserved :( ?

I have no idea. I haven't talked to Cody in a while nor anyone else from the MWO. I'll have to get a hold of Cody and see why they fell through.

Yeah... If your heel gimmick can bring in extra fans, it would be great :) But what to do when you must turn face???

There also might be some people who have a religious affiliation (Christians, Catholics, etc.) that might have a problem with the blood baptism bit. I have friends who are Christians that go to wrestling events on a regular basis. Also, you are doing this in a high school gym so I would strongly advise against the blood baptism angle.

We're in a bar most of the time, plus, I won't be doing any wrestling until I become a regular. So, I have a lot of time to decide on gimmick.

I hope you go for the mafia gimmick when you turned face you could be making up for the wrongs you could even do the bif hero save and save one of the ladies who completes in the mwo.
